Jaclyn Carter

Jaclyn coaches founders and their leadership teams to seek clarity and to drive alignment amidst growth and the inevitable confusion that occurs amongst human beings at work. She works with all levels of employees, from C-Suite to individual contributors, across industries.

Jaclyn is led by her desire to innovate and create. She has owned and operated multiple business over the last 15 years, ranging from an HR and Career Consulting firm (WHC Solutions) to organic and vegan skincare products (A Spirit of Joy Organic Skin Care). She serves as the COO of We Shine Apparel & Accessories, a positive apparel company owned by her 2 young children! Jaclyn also provides HR thought leadership to Yardstick Management and career advisory services to Bravely. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Jaclyn served as an HR leader and advisor for Johns Manville, Otis Elevator, DaimlerChrysler, and various small businesses in and around her hometown of Detroit, Michigan.

Jaclyn holds a BA in Human Resource Management from Michigan State University, and a MILR in Labor Relations and Dispute Resolution from Cornell University.

Based in Connecticut, Jaclyn spends time coaching first-generation college students and underrepresented women through the YWCA. She is an avid reader, an accomplished foodie, and an aspiring globe-trotter. Her compulsions center around raising good humans, paying it forward, helping people identify solutions, and leaving every environment she enters better than she found it.
