Cesar Gonzalez

Cesar coaches founders and their teams to use their energy wisely in order to grow themselves, bring out the best in their teams, and scale their ventures. Today, much of his work is with social sector leaders and VC-backed technology startups.

As the CEO of StartingBloc for 4 years, Cesar helped to deliver leadership training to thousands of social entrepreneurs and spearheaded growth into new markets. For his work there he was selected as a Fellow to On Being and a Finalist for the American Express Leadership prize. Prior to that, Cesar spent 10 years working on startups both in the tech and social sectors.

Cesar holds a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the California Institute of Technology.

Cesar resides happily with his wife, daughter, and their rambunctious Cocker Spaniel on the front range of the Rocky Mountains. He is originally from Lima, Peru and has lived and worked in Paris, London, Buenos Aires, Ubud, Bogota, Tripoli, Honolulu, Los Angeles, and Boulder. He is compulsive about all things learning, the great outdoors, and Cuban dance.
