Leadership Coach
Maria helps high-performing mid-level managers and director-level executives stop managing to survive and start designing to thrive. She works with leaders who have gotten far through effort, urgency, and over-functioning — but are now realizing that what got them here will not get them where they need to go next.
Integral Coaching Canada, 2019
Certified Integral Master Coach
Integral Facilitator, 2015–2016
Certified Integral Facilitator
Maria grew up in Caracas, Venezuela and left for Europe in her early 20s, beginning a personal and professional journey that took her through Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and the United States. Her career has been intentionally varied, spanning international fashion modeling, acting, leadership coaching, Integral Coaching and Facilitation, conflict mediation, and Zen practice.
Since 2016, Maria has led her private coaching practice, Maria Bailey Integrative Coaching, supporting leaders to build greater self-awareness, clarify what matters, and design more effective ways of working within the real pressures of their lives and organizations. She joined Talentism in 2022 as a Leadership Coach and Certified Clarity Coach, where she also contributes to program development, coach learning, and client experience.
Maria specializes in supporting high-performing managers, directors, executives, and founders who are caught in the fire-drill loop: leading through urgency, over-functioning, reacting to pressure, or carrying too much of the system themselves. Her work helps leaders see the patterns driving their behavior, understand what those patterns have been trying to solve, and experiment with more effective ways of leading — through clearer priorities, better conversations, stronger accountability, and more intentional influence.
Her coaching style is direct, inquiry-driven, and collaborative. She brings together practical leadership development, adult development, somatic intelligence, mindfulness, and systems thinking to help clients move from reactivity and depletion into grounded presence, strategic action, and creative leadership.
Maria lives in Denver with her husband. They are now proud empty nesters. Outside of coaching, she creates abstract art, spends time alone in nature, cooks creatively, and loves meaningful rituals. She previously published the podcast Ordinary Habits, Extraordinary Life, which remains available, and now publishes one YouTube video each week on leadership patterns that help capable mid-level managers and directors get out of the reactive and endless fire-drill loop.
“Maria helped me move from doing the work to designing the conditions to reach my goals, which allows me to scale my impact without simply increasing my effort.”

“Maria always helps me recognize where I need to work by never letting me off the hook. She challenges my thought process, and I love that she has me explain insights in my own words to make sure I understood what she was trying to share.”
